Your opportunity:

n exciting, commercial opportunity has recently become available for a Clinical Application Specialist – Cardiac Ultrasound, to join our high performing Ultrasound team on a part-time 12 month fixed term contract. Your clinical and commercial experience within cardiology, and customer centric approach will be highly valued. This role is Adelaide based and join the local ultrasound team in covering a defined territory of SA. This maternity leave contract role is part time for 3 days a week and is flexible on which days, however, will be in succession Reporting to the Clinical Applications Manager – CV Ultrasound, you will work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and customers and play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our Ultrasound business.

Providing clinical support throughout the entire life cycle of the relationship with both new and existing customers, you will work in partnership with Account Managers to deliver pre-sale presentations and demonstrations on the Philips Ultrasound portfolio including the Advanced Imaging techniques of 3D Echo and Cardiac Strain. You will play a pivotal role in maximizing customer satisfaction, and elevating the efficiency of patient care, through providing effective training around the optimal use of our equipment once delivered / installed and handed over by Philips.

Other key responsibilities

  • Promote Philips Healthcare solutions during customer visits, product demonstrations, seminars, and trade shows

  • Train customers in applying optimal usage of the equipment delivered enabling users to follow clinical procedures and protocols to achieve best practice

  • Train / re-train hospital staff in case of new releases, upgrade and / or versions (changes) in the operating procedures of the equipment

  • Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the quality of the training delivery and the customer satisfaction

  • Be aware and to manage at all times the safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection, health and safety regulations

  • Support product launches and advise the sales team of market feedback

  • Keep up to date with new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment

  • Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner

  • Supporting the business with input on configurations and working with the Account Manager to provide clinical feedback to assist in funnel management

We are looking for someone who has

  • Postgraduate studies in Cardiac Sonography are required as well as in-depth clinical experience within a public and/or private echocardiography department

  • Experience with Advanced Imaging technologies or cardiac catheterization/hybrid labs highly regarded

  • Previous experience in presentations and training or experience within a commercial environment will be high regarded

  • Outstanding relationship building and communication skills

  • High levels of motivation, energy, and a drive to achieve results

  • Desire to be in a commercially focused clinical role, partnering the business

  • The ability to travel across ANZ if required
