Position summary:

This position will be for someone with a good understanding of how fixed income instruments are priced with special focus on corporate and government bonds. The successful candidate will form a key part of the Evaluated Bond team responsible for maintaining smooth running of the day-to-day operations as well as assisting internal and external pricing clients with services ranging from pre-sales to post-sales across different asset classes such as Fixed Income, Equity, Securitized Products. Certain operational tasks such as data delivery, customer support, and client relationships will also be part of this role. SQL/VBA programming is also required to help develop and further enhance existing excel based tool kits. Role would expect candidate to work closely with Global team in Noida, Gurgaon, Singapore, London and New York.

Duties & accountabilities

  • Understanding prospect client requirements and ensuring all clients/sales queries are responded quickly and efficiently.

  • On-boarding internal and external clients for multiple EVB pricing products and assisting them through data integration process.

  • Ability to conduct client calls for demos for newly on-boarded clients or for resolving any client query/issues raised.

  • Proactively monitoring data deliveries to ensure uninterrupted services to the client.

  • Managing daily requests/queries received from the clients and handling escalations, if any.

  • Delivery of set targets with desired quality parameters

  • Improve service/database quality by identifying patterns of client queries.

  • Identification of opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and data quality improvement projects.

  • User acceptance testing for new or enhanced product functionality.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and liaise with counterparts/stakeholders globally and work as ambassador for the team.

  • Must have general understanding of financial markets and be keen to expand knowledge.

  • Good understanding of Fixed Income Market – Corporates, Sovereign, Municipals, Securitized Bonds as well as Equity Market.

Business competencies

Education and experience

Graduate degree/ Postgraduate or equivalent in ideally Finance, Economics or Business

Must

Understanding of financial markets.

Good knowledge of different types of fixed income instruments and terms and conditions associated with them along-with Equities Market

Desirable

Good Knowledge of Excel/VBA, SQL along with Python will be desirable.

Commercial awareness

Must have a keen interest in finance and be up to date with current global financial market news.
