We're seeking a talented BIM Modeller to join our team at WSP in the UK. While preferred locations include London, Manchester, Newcastle, or Derby, we're open to considering candidates from any of our other offices, with hybrid working options available.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Setting up project coordinates, templates, titleblocks and sheet production.

  • Manage the proper use of models and layers to ensure the efficient production of drawings and that a single source of truth is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Ensure project standards (Client & internal) are followed, including naming conventions as defined by ISO19650 on all project deliverables.

  • Use Civil 3D to model corridors, surfaces, pipe networks and other asset information to LOD300.

  • Work with the BIM Manager to establish new, more efficient workflows using Civil 3D, Infraworks, Navisworks, ACC, or automation.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Civil 3D (surfaces, corridors, gradings, sites, pipe networks, data shortcuts, styles)

  • Experience in the use of topographical and GPR survey information

  • Experience in modelling to geometric design standards such as ICAO, DMRB, or similar.

  • Experienced in the use of Common Data Environments

  • Knowledge of BIM processes and procedures

Experience in one or more of Revit, Infraworks, Navisworks, Dynamo/LISP, or the ACC/ BIM360 is desirable but we will support development in these areas as appropriate to the individual's interest. The main requirement here is a willingness to implement new workflows and discuss ideas for potential improvements on a regular basis.
