Oracle Quality Assurance Signoff Engineer in Philippines

Job Description

Responsibilities:• Responsible for pre and post-release auth of ALL new code• Pre-go-live auth for New Logical Data Centers• Responsible for the pre and post-release auth of all database upgrade downtime• SDLC safety net, ensuring compliance with established policies• Post-Release/Post Production Signoff of Maintenance of Infrastructure related changes• Expediting issues closure and showstopper resolutions;• Coordinates with Cloud Ops teams and Support teams, ensuring that the service is back (from customer's view)• Execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases and analyze test results to ensure that system functionality satisfies acceptance criteria.• Draft comprehensive test cases based on insight gathered from subject matter experts and build resources involved in the specific product being tested.• Create and maintain documentation of processes and tools.• Design and develop automated tests; perform peer-automated test code reviews and optimize test code execution• Perform project tasks and solve problems independently

Qualifications:· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science or any IT related course· At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position· 3-5 years experience with Software Quality Assurance and testing methodologies. Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle.· Solid practical knowledge of programming/scripting· Experience in JavaScript or related scripting languages· Knowledge of JAVA, HTML and SQL· Experience in using or working with Git· Experience in Cloud Computing technology· Ability to quickly master new technologies· Must have good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills· Excellent interpersonal skills working in a team environment· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Self-motivated, capable of working independently when needed· Organized and reliable, able to efficiently manage multiple tasks· Willing to work on Holidays or weekends
