Service Source Production Control Clerk in 1660 Chesapeake VA, United States

Job Summary Provide electronic invoice support, scanning, indexing operations, and clerical support with mail and return letters.

Primary Duties

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

  • Ensure invoices from the shared mailboxs are e-mailed to Financial System Modernization Solution (FSMS) with all supporting documentation.

  • Compile daily,weekly, monthly production reports.

  • Monitor production and backlog reports that are generated daily.

  • Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.

  • Prepare work schedules for team.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Review and validate that all pages are entered.

  • Validate that all documents received via mail, fax, and email are printed, batched, indexed, scanned and forwarded as required.

  • Act as first point of contact for all walk-up requests.

  • Maintain procedures and how-to guides and files.

  • Coordinate Distibution of walk-up requests.

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development required.

  • One year experience in related field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to perform routine tasks on various classes of mail.

  • Ability to work on repetitive tasks for long periods of time with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to type.

  • Proficient in the use of 10 key number pad on computer keyboard.

  • Good reading and writing skills.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

  • Ability to operate computer using Microsoft Office.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
