Seeking a highly motivated RF Design Engineer to work on Identification of Friend or Foe (IFF) products for defense applications. The role involves designing, testing, and integrating analog and RF/microwave components and subsystems from DC to 3GHz, such as receivers, solid state power amplifiers, LNA’s, filters, RF switches, frequency synthesizers, and frequency sources. Responsibilities include modernizing existing designs to eliminate obsolete components, improving performance, developing RF circuits and modules, and supporting production and transition to production. The position is based in the electrical engineering department which supports the Precision Navigation product line, designing and testing various types of RF/analog electronic hardware and performing trade studies and product selection for commercially available components.
