Janitorial Resource PositionOverview: Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc. - Markham, WA is a processing facility and receiving station. Product type(s) include: SDC's, Fresh Fruit, Cranberry Receiving. The Janitorial Resource position operates on a continuous schedule from 8am-8pm and is expected to contribute to the plant's success by keeping the premises of the facility in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for maintaining the general cleaning of the plant offices, rest rooms, locker rooms, break rooms and any other cleaning assigned. Also responsible for coordinating, monitoring and maintaining adequate cleaning supplies and miscellaneous operating supplies. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Operates and uses standard cleaning equipment such as mops, buckets, cleaning chemicals, brooms, floor scrubbers and dusters etc. and advises when items are running low Clean offices, rooms, hallways, corridors, stairways, docks and other production areas as assigned Sweeps, scrubs, maintains all walkways inside the plant to be clear of debris or foreign material Empties wastebaskets, replaces trash can liners and disposes of trash and debris to designated waste areas Replenishes bathroom and breakroom supplies such as paper towels and toilet paper and cleaning supplies as needed Identify areas which need special attention to detail (spot cleaning) and works on special cleaning projects assigned May be required to assist in providing sanitation and re-sanitation to production equipment and other identified locations as needed in the plant Perform 5S and practice good housekeeping while maintaining the janitorial supply room in a neat and orderly manner. Assist with other cleaning duties as needed as assigned by management personnel Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements: Facility Knowledge Basic Computer Skills Chemical Requirements & Usage Understanding Proper PPE Usage Competent Written & Oral Communications Required to become forklift certified Salary: $19.02 per hour The base pay information above serves as a guideline of the position's typical hiring range.
