New York University Research Assistant in the Division of Arts and Humanities- Dr. Ouided Bouchamaoui in Abu Dhabi, United States
NYUAD seeks to recruit a Research Assistant to support Dr. Ouided Bouchamaoui, in carrying out research in support of the development of the first Peace Institute in the region. The candidate will also assist in developing the infrastructure for the Institute which aims at promoting peace and harmony via innovative conflict resolution tactics, education and community engagement.
The successful applicant will be researching, designing, and implementing the structure for the Institute for Peace Studies at NYU AD. They will assist in Designing the Center’s programming (conferences, seminars, lectures, workshops) under the guidance of the Principal Investigator (PI), Dr. Bouchamaoui and in developing and managing partnerships on behalf of the Institute and the PI. They will also help develop materials for educating and training individuals and communities on conflict resolution techniques. They will also ensure the administrative set up and management of the Institute for Peace Studies, including management of budgets, supporting the PI’s activities (calendar management, travel, etc.) and any other adhoc administrative or research duties as assigned by the PI.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s in Foreign language Studies or related field with at least 8 to 10 years in Administration role.
