Job Title: Skilled Laborer
Job Description
Join our team for a focused 6-week project building and painting basic hat racks with coat hooks, and crafting 2x6 benches. You will work primarily with plywood, utilizing table saws and chop saws to achieve precise 45-degree cuts. Assembly will involve using drills, screws, and potentially nailers.
Hard Skills
Residential or commercial wood framing
Measuring with hand tools
Using hand power tools (drill or impact drill)
Chop saw operation
Table saw operation
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Must Haves:
Reliable transportation (site not transit accessible)
Own hand tools with drill
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Experience with building and assembly
This is a project based role with a duration of 6 Week(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Acheson, Alberta.
Work Environment
Work hours are from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with the possibility of up to 10 overtime hours per week.
You will be stationed in the shop 100% of the time, contributing to a team-focused and safety-oriented culture.
