Need 1 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operator to work in Ada, MN. From: 03/01/2025 to 11/15/2025 Work: 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The hours may vary during different times of the crop season. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Must Apply By: 07/09/2025 JOB DESCRIPTION: Drive and operate combines to plant, cultivate, harvest and store soybeans, sugar beets and wheat crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus, weed growth and diseases. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Load and unload crops or containers of materials Crops: Soy beans, sugar beets, wheat JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to have Class D or willing to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. No HS Diploma/GED required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
