Trans-Tech Technical Operator / Machine Operator in Adamstown, Maryland

We supply advanced materials, ferrites and magnetic materials, dielectrics, ceramic bandpass filters, coaxial resonators, and coaxial inductors.

[Technical Operator (Machine Operator) [Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines and/or testing stations used in the production of or qualification of the company's products. May be responsible for actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances. *[Work schedule: [Regular schedule will be 2nd shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm Monday-Friday). *[Primary job responsibilities: [Monitoring and performing first level maintenance of shop equipment and machinery. Setting up manufacturing equipment to specifications on router or on drawing. Running machines to complete assigned tasks. Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment. Performing data collection using [micrometers and other measurement tools[ as specified in processes. Performing adjustments as needed. Meeting or exceeding quality goals.   • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Machine operation experience of 0-3 years
  • Ability to set up manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to run machines to complete tasks
  • Ability to read micrometers
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to keep work area clean and organized
