dsm-firmenich Senior Sales Manager Diagnostic EMEA in Aesch, Switzerland

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a knack for building strong relationships and driving business growth in the diagnostics sector, particularly in coagulation? We're on the lookout for a Senior Sales Manager to join our team in Aesch/Basel Land and lead our efforts across EMEA. In this privotal role, you'll spearhead stategic sales initiatives, cultivate key partnerships and ensure unparalleled customer satisfaction across EMEA markets.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and maximize market penetration with a focus on coagulation diagnostics.

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, serving as their trusted advisor and ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.

  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics and regulatory changes in the diagnostics industry, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the EMEA region, leveraging your industry expertise and network to expand our customer base.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including marketing, product development and customer support teams to deliver exceptional value to our customers and drive overall business success.

Qualification & Skills

  • Educational Background: University degree in biochemistry, chemical engineering or biology

  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the in-vitro diagnostics industry with a strong background in coagulation diagnostics preferred

  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the EMEA diagnostics market, including key players, market trends and regulatory requirements

  • Relationship Building: Proven track record of building and nurturing relationships with key accounts, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Results Orientation: Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team culture

  • Languages: Fluency in English is required and proficiency in German and additional languages spoken within the EMEA region is a plus
