Akron. Schrock Metal Products. Powder Coater. $20 - $24.99/hour.
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, machining and possess mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities: - Prepare parts for coating by cleaning, sandblasting, masking, and hanging - Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment - Operate curing ovens to bake powder coating onto parts - Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications - Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness - Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Experience: - Experience with powder coating processes and techniques - Proficiency in using hand tools for preparation and finishing work - Knowledge of operating cranes and forklifts for material handling
