Aston Carter Logistic Specialist in Alameda, California
Description:
• Interface with a diverse internal team across Clinical, Manufacturing, and Quality functions as well as external partners to support the coordination of inbound and outbound logistics activities. • Coordinate activities with transportation carriers, Customs Brokers and importers. • Documenting and monitoring the on time and in-full delivery of product to delivery points • Research import/export requirements by country and transport lane. • Review and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and coordinated between 3rd party ship sites, CMOs, depots and sites • Understand record keeping requirements and ensure compliance for all transport lanes. • Monitor critical shipments across each leg of transport • Reports shipping incidents with Quality Assurance. • Assists in the administration of the Transportation Management System (TMS) for Clinical Supplies. • Review billing invoices for payment. • Apply for Import or Export permits as needed. • Stay informed of global regulatory changes and updates related to international trade in order to ensure compliance. • Represent Supply Chain Logistics in Supply meetings • Provide visibility of shipping status through reports to keep the relevant stakeholders informed.
