TEKsystems End Point Engineer in Albany, New York
Description
The Endpoint Engineer role builds and maintains from specifications Broadview’s enterprise infrastructure compute, storage, and
endpoint platforms within the technology stack. The role builds compute, storage, and endpoint platforms to meet
availability/response, scalability, and integrity requirements within the ecosystem. The role is familiar with the layers of the technology stack,
configuration controls and protocols to deliver services. The role executes technical proficiencies in building from specifications, interpreting
requirements, and knowledge of configuration management best practices, control frameworks, and industry vendors.
The role reliably executes working with managed service vendors, and has competencies configuring, deploying, testing, and
operationalizing technology compute, storage, and endpoint assets and services across hybrid data centers. The Infrastructure Engineer role
supports (level 3) problems via diagnostics and troubleshooting. The Infrastructure Engineer builds the interoperability of the compute,
storage and endpoint ecosystem with expertise in least two areas performing hands on work relevant to Broadview’s technology stack for the
following assets/services: servers, Microsoft operating systems, Apple environment, storage area networks, virtualization, VDI, backup and
restores, scripting, administrator tools, application installations, databases, Active Directory and Identity Access, AWS tenant, and Microsoft
O365 tenant, endpoints, specialized banking assets, and tools.
The Infrastructure Engineer is the point of first contact within Technology Engineering Delivery team for Level three escalation and includes
interfacing with manufacturers for complex problem resolution. T

Additional Skills & Qualifications
3 years minimum - building and managing hybrid enterprise infrastructure platforms for the assigned technology assets &
services.
Desired - 2+ years working in financial services.
Experience must include similar tools, manufacturers and working knowledge of industry best practices/standards and CIS
standards.
Associate’s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or related field, or an equivalent combination of
education and experience.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
