Description
As a Family Support Specialist / Family Reunification Coach, you will have a strong desire to help and serve others at the same time demonstrate a strong willingness to work cooperatively with others and be a part of an exciting foster care team. You will report to the Program Coordinator and will work onsite with travel required.
Responsibilities:
• Transportation of children to family visits and appointments.
• Provide supervision of family visits with a focus on reunifying the family while utilizing the family visit coaching and engagement model.
• Offer one-on-one support for the youth.
• Maintain cultural sensitivity, competence, and client confidentiality.
• Full-time position, 40 hours per week with a shifting schedule based on the needs of the program which includes some early evenings.
Requirements and Education:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Must have a driver's license and a reliable and safe vehicle. Mileage reimbursement will be provided.
