Minimum Qualifications Five years experience in SQL and application development using C#, with two years experience in .NetThe following degrees may substitute for the general experience as indicated: ? Duties Description Under the direction of Manager Information Technology Services 1, SG-27, within the Chief Technology Office – Business Application Services – Labor Workforce Education Portfolio supporting the Workers Compensation Bureau (WCB) , the Project Assistant, SG-NS, will be responsible for overseeing staff, participating in the design, development, testing, implementation of .Net applications. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:- Perform application developments of the interface and service components that utilize some of the programming languages and skills/technologies, such as C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, XML, Azure platform, NodeJS, GIT, and database and content management systems.- Analyze of existing processes and documenting the requirements that are related to a specific business objective.- Create functional specs that are based on the business requirements and contain the details of end-user expectations of the functionality of the product. - Evaluate the requirements of information systems and designing such systems by applying analysis and design techniques.- Prepare documentation for all application changes.- Work with version control systems, development of detailed unit test and system test plans to ascertain the new system adheres to the business rules.- Remediation of any bugs or problems found in testing.- Development of post-production support plans; and on-going maintenance and support of the application.- Performing all supervisory responsibilities and ability to mentor and facilitate the personal growth of subordinates.
