Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Expert Software Architect to join our NYS Information Technology Services Team located in Albany, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

This position will provide the following PeopleSoft Application Development, Reporting and Interface support:
  • Reverse Engineer/Translate existing programming into technical and functional documentation.
  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to evaluate existing system logic and incorporate those findings into the Business and Technical solutioning.
  • Provide Research, Analysis and Development support for the NYSTEP Business and Technical Solutioning project.
  • Support the NYSTEP Business and Technical Solutioning project activities as required.
  • Complete development and configuration activities using latest PeopleSoft technology tools
  • Complete complex development and configuration tasks in accordance with set standards
  • Complete complex Workflow Configurations.
  • Create unit test plans to detail test conditions and expected results
  • Develop and perform unit testing using appropriate test data
  • Support integration, performance, QA testing and work on break/fixes for identified bugs
  • Participate in peer review of development work
  • Design and Develop complex reporting and interfaces using latest PeopleSoft technology

Qualifications:

84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 84 months of experience developing customizations, reports, interfaces, and programs in a PeopleSoft environment developing with PeopleTools.
  • 84 months of experience Customizing with PeopleCode and other PeopleSoft objects using PeopleSoft Application Designer.
  • 84 months of experience using SQL against an Oracle relational database to support PeopleSoft related tasks.
  • 72 months programming experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.2.
  • 60 months of experience creating and troubleshooting Application Engines and SQR's.
  • 48 months of experience using Workflow configuration with Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $54.00 to $64.00
