The Building People Maximo Application Software Engineer in Alexandria, Virginia

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for Maximo Application Engineer

The software applications include Microsoft Active Directory; Software House CCure; Software House CCure Central; Hirsch Velocity; Securing Personnel and Resources Through Awareness (SPARTA) Physical Security Information Management (PSIM); SQL Databases; Juniper network solutions; Palo Alto network solutions; Symantec Endpoint Protection; Microsoft Defender Enterprise; Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM); Rapid7 Nexpose scanning engine, Tanium; SolarWinds; and Splunk, with others developed and integrated as DS technologies evolve.Support a global deployment of IBM's Enterprise Asset Management application Maximo 7.X and above to include an upgrade to MAS 8.

  • Provide expert guidance on Enterprise Asset Management best practices, create, and improve existing Maximo workflows to manage work management, logistics, and property management processes.

  • Perform tasks that encompass the complete lifecycle of activities required for application development and maintenance including but not limited to problem identification, tracking, analysis, and resolution to code generation, testing, deployment, training, and documentation.

  • Provide Application Development for delivery of customer-requested solutions utilizing the enterprise SharePoint platforms.

  • Support the offices by implementing and supporting collaboration tools.

  • Support activities and requirements include, but are not limited to, the following: Building lists and libraries within SharePoint and/or SharePoint Online

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited University or College

  • 5 yrs of experience supporting large 1500-2000 user Maximo program, MAS 8 Upgrade experience on enterprise Onsite Integrated Project Team supporting Maximo, supply chain, material order, procurement & inventory with Maximo

  • Work is performed onsite

  • TS Clearance

  • Front End Web/SharePoint Development

  • Experience with federal government implementation

  • Experience with large project involving multiple contractors

  • Technical knowledge with PowerApps for application development, Agile Methodology, Applicable knowledge of markup languages HTML5, CSS and how to implement code to change web sites and SharePoint sites

  • Use of Wire Frame mock-ups and other methods of customer and team planning

  • Experience using REACT

  • Experience using Angular, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery Sites, Site Collections, and lists and libraries in SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint Online and/or Office 365, Microsoft Azure Government Cloud

  • SharePoint Designer and workflow implementation

  • Knowledge of API/RESTful services

  • Prior Federal Government experience

  • Operate within a home office environment that provides adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.
