David M Beatty Dentistry is looking to hire two Dental Hygientists to join our team!
We are a busy dental office, the dental hygienists must be licensed and registered.
Dental hygienists are registered dental professionals who specialize in preventive dental health and gum disease treatment. Their duties include:
- Patient care: Initial screenings, oral health assessments, and dental charting
- Cleaning: Removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth, also known as a "scale and polish" or prophylaxis
- Protection: Applying sealants and fluorides to teeth
- Diagnosis: Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Education: Advising patients on oral health and preventative care, including proper brushing and flossing techniques, denture care, and nutrition
- Documentation: Recording patient care and treatment plans
