Job Title: General Laborer
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated General Laborer for a Melter position, which is initially set as a temporary role for 2-3 months. However, there's an opportunity for extension depending on productivity and attendance. The role primarily involves general labor and production tasks such as stacking and palletizing boxes of cocoa butter, heavy lifting, and unpackaging boxes of cocoa butter. The hired candidate will also be responsible for operating a lift machine to transfer cocoa butter into a melter machine and packaging the finished product.

This is a fully on-site position in American Canyon, California.
Work Environment
The position is located within a food production facility and requires comfortability with warm work areas of up to 120 degrees during summer, louder than average noise levels due to machinery, and wearing steel-toed shoes above the ankle. The available shift for this opening is the 1st shift, from 5:30AM-2:00PM. However, the schedule rotates days off, so candidates should plan on working at least two weekends per month and be open to working all days of the week. The operation runs 24/7, and candidates can expect 5-10 hours of overtime per week.
