Alaska State Job Bank Patient Registration Coordinator (Anchorage) in Anchorage, Alaska
ER Registration/Patient Registration Coordinator positions are available immediately.
Looking for detail-oriented, customer service-minded individuals to perform all admitting, transfer, registration, and discharge functions when patients are admitted or registered to the hospital/clinic.
One year of customer service registration processing, medical office or computer database experience, OR an equivalent combination of relevant education/training is required to be considered for this position.
Applicants must be ableto operatea multi-line phone system, have proficient computer skills, operate general office equipment, and be able to type 30 wpm.
Basic medical terminology, excellent communication skills written/verbal, and the ability to research and problem-solve are also required for this position.
Full-time and Part-time positions are available with pay starting at $18.50/HR, depending on experience.
Available Shifts:
- Monday-Friday 530am-2pm
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in customer service, registration processing, medical office, or computer database.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient computer skills/various softwares
- Knowledgeably operates a multi-line phone system
- Background will be viewed
- Drug-free environment
