Robert Half Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager in Anderson, South Carolina
Description
We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to join our team located in Upstate, South Carolina. In this role, you will be expected to manage and monitor customer accounts, process credit applications, resolve any billing issues and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee a high volume of Accounts Receivable operations and ensure smooth communication with large-scale vendors
• Conduct regular reviews of customer deductions and claims
• Investigate and resolve billing issues through corrective actions
• Generate management reports and maintain updated credit files to meet necessary requirements
• Implement company policy and terms for extending credit to customers
• Maintain credit records for the purpose of monitoring credit lines
• Handle credit beyond for key accounts
• Ensure proper application of funds by auditing customers' accounts
• Manage aging accounts and delinquent accounts
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems like Oracle and SAP for various accounting functions
Skills:
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management
• Knowledge of Auditing and Billing Functions
• Ability to Approve Credit and manage Credit - Collections
• Familiarity with larger ERP based platforms
Requirements
• Proficiency in Various accounting software systems. (IE Netsuite, or Oracle, or SAP)
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions.
• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Experience with auditing practices.
• Familiarity with billing functions.
• Ability to approve credit decisions.
• Experience in credit collection procedures.
• Strong People Management skills
