What You Will Achieve

The work includes various instrumental techniques including HPLC, GC, IR, UV, as well as wet chemical methods. The candidate will also be expected to support additional QC Analytical testing activities as needed. This position requires working collaboratively with the QC raw materials team and active participating in scheduling, visual management, metrics, and continuous improvement activities. The successful candidate will be team oriented, have a passion for excellence, act with integrity, demonstrate equity and inclusivity, seek continuous improvement opportunities, and actively participate in site recognition programs.

How You Will Achieve It

You will receive On the Job Training which will include understanding of Practical Lab skills and Lab Safety:

  • PPE Use, Chemical Safety, SDS, Lab Hygiene

  • Knowledge of common lab equipment

  • Labeling, weighing, and measuring techniques

  • Identifying appropriate lab tools for the job

  • Calibration of lab instruments & equipment

  • Fridges, freezers, incubators, autoclaves, centrifuges, vortexes and sonicators

  • SOPs, Documentation techniques

  • Chemical nomenclature

  • Acid-Base Reaction and Concentration & Dilution

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • High Schooldiploma or GEDrequired.

The salary for this position ranges from $23.28 to $38.80 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
