WORK LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MISALARY RANGE: $23 - $28FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt SUMMARYEdge Autonomy is seeking a Quality Receiving Inspector to join our team. The Quality Receiving Inspector should have experience with receiving and system subcomponents and be able to work with the team to ensure an outstanding final product.RESPONSIBILITIESThe following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties. Perform inspections (in-process and final) on electronic, PCB, machined parts, 3D printed parts, and raw materials.Documenting inspection resultsCommunicate and help resolve quality related issuesProcess non-conforming productPerform receiving inspection to assure product compliance with quality assurance standards and applicable specificationsRead and interpret released drawings, engineering change orders, assembly and inspection instructionsWhen directed perform audits of specific areas, processes and proceduresUse standard electrical and mechanical inspection tools such as microscopes, calipers, mechanical gauges and other measuring devicesMaintain records of rejected/accepted material, maintain databases for analysis of nonconformitiesFamiliarity with calibration processes and documentationREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSThe following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position:High School Diploma or higher2+ years of related experienceKnowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, and processesDemonstrated understanding of inspection processesExperience using engineering drawings and wiring schematicsThe ability to inspect a product or system to ensure that it is according to specifications and requirements.Read and comprehend standard blueprints, machine, and process drawings.Use equipment to test performance and operation.Measure voltage, current, resistance or other electrical characteristics by using electrical measuring equipment such as multimeters, voltmeters, and ammeters.Use various techniques to ensure the product quality is respecting the quality standards and specifications.
