Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous Bookkeeper. This role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, maintaining detailed financial records.
Responsibilities:
• Process and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and take necessary actions for delinquent payments
• Ensure all financial records are compliant with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with the team to create and implement financial policies and procedures
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
• Support other team members with various tasks as needed
• Continually update skills and knowledge in the bookkeeping field
Requirements
• Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Capable of maintaining financial records and preparing reports
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations and manage general ledger
• Knowledgeable in preparing financial statements and balance sheets
• Demonstrated skills in maintaining accurate financial records and data
• Experience in performing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Capable of processing payroll and managing invoicing activities
• Ability to adhere to and implement internal financial procedures and policies
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and information
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills for reporting financial information
• High level of integrity and confidentiality for handling sensitive financial information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
