About the role The Area Business Strategist will drive analytics, strategy, and planning for the AFIB SOLUTIONS (LAAC & EP) sales team in the Cardiology Group of Boston Scientific. As an integral member of the Sales Strategy Operations team, this position partners directly with our Area Vice Presidents and is responsible for building, reporting, and influencing commercial sales growth models to enable the organization to grow at scale for years to come. The ideal candidate will have strong business insight, excellent analytical skills, technical skills, financial acumen, and a bias toward action and teamwork. Strong process orientation and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment at all levels are also required. Your responsibilities will include: Self-starter develops and deploys best practices, identifies new customer insights to drive business, highly accountable, and delivers above expectations Formulate analytical strategies for proactively solving business problems, achieving commercial objectives, and developing new business opportunities Timely delivery of reoccurring deliverables (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) that monitor business trends, area performance and rankings, sales process and pipeline metrics, and key corporate initiatives Interpret data trends and present data-driven strategic insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership related to business performance, operations, and customer insights that grow the business effectively. Train business users to self-serve in analytics using existing resources. Educate business users on data nuances and develop their ability to identify and distill actionable items through data mining. Drive adoption of storytelling rooted in data analytics. Effectively communicates and actively collaborates within and beyond the team to cultivate teamwork and empowered partnerships Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, or related discipline (MBA preferred) 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, Marketing, or Sales Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve complex business operations challenges Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to mobilizekey stakeholders and engage leadership Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Highly analytical with the ability to analyze large sets of data from multiple perspectives to generate conclusions and drive decisions Ability to interpret ambiguous requests, and partner with key stakeholders in driving goals Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities Highly organized with excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities Ability to travel 35% domestic travel Preferred Qualifications MBA Experienced in Tableau and Salesforce Requisition ID:585440 As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most - united by a deep caring for human life.
