Job Description Summary

This role leads the facility maintenance teams for the entire aircraft engine repair overhaul site, as well as new production. This role provides key front-line leadership to a team of skilled tradesmen that support the repair overhaul teams in the referenced areas. The successful candidate will offer technical support and guidance to the teams and customers in order to meet shop goals and priorities. The successful candidate will also be a strong partner to the operations team and be able to operate in a matrixed environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the teams personnel in daily operations,demonstratingstrongintegration with maintenanceoperationsteamsandcrossfunctionalstakeholders
  • Establish the use of key metrics to ensure allrelatedactivitiesaremeetingexpectationsforthe business, teams, employees andcustomers
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate leadership in communicating businessgoals/programs/processesconsistently across the teams
  • Provide technical leadership for facility maintenance personnel across the entire aircraft engine repair overhaul and new production areas.
  • Managemaintenanceengineeringprojects,rebuilds, retrofits and new installations
  • Provide technical training for the facilitymaintenanceworkforce
  • Ensure compliancewith the EHS safety standard with special focus onequipmentsafety
  • DriveimplementationofTPM (TotalProductiveMaintenance)initiatives
  • Provide training for the Maximo PM database, supporting software and procedures
  • Monitor PM backlogsto ensure timely completion
  • Standardizemaintenanceprograms,procedures and processes across the business units
  • Reduce downtime by improving reliabilityand maintainability of equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED and an additional 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment)
  • 3+ years of experience working inMaintenance/Manufacturing.
  • Preventative and/or predictive maintenance experience.
