Robert Half Commerical Construction Site Superintendent in Arlington, Texas
Description
Hiring a Commerical Construction Site Superintendent, looking for someone with at least 2 years of Commerical Construction leadership experience to come in and work with a growing company.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise multiple crews across different job sites in the commercial construction industry.
• Read and understand blueprints to guide project execution.
• Set daily and weekly goals for crews to ensure project timelines are met.
• Manage the pace and quality of production to meet industry standards.
• Lead and oversee teams of subcontractors, fostering a performance culture within the field team.
• Handle stressful situations calmly and effectively to maintain a positive work environment.
• Write job reports to document progress and any issues encountered.
• Ensure crews are familiar with and adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
• Use Procore and other project management tools to track project progress and manage resources.
• Develop leadership skills in team members and promote continuous growth within the team.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally a minimum of 2 years
• Proficiency in Procore software or similar
• Demonstrable experience in leadership development, including designing and implementing leadership programs
• Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff at all levels
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
