This role will serve as counsel for road safety and compliance matters. They will partner with the legal team and their business operations clients, and collaborate with colleagues from multiple internal teams, to drive operational excellence, global road safety as we deliver for our customers at our fastest speeds, and cost savings.

Some travel, domestic and international, may be required.

Key job responsibilities

Principal duties include:

  • Be an integral part of the business teams they support, driving road safety and compliance as counsel on a broad range of road safety and compliance matters.

  • Providing ongoing legal and business problem-solving counseling for a wide range of matters in creative, business-centric ways.

  • Collaborate internally to develop mechanisms that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of legal experience

  • Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

  • Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
