Actalent Lab Technician in Arvada, Colorado
Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Lab Technician who will be responsible for testing medical devices using water and blood analogs (simulated blood). This role includes visual inspections, microbiology testing, pull testing, and analyzing samples. The Lab Technician will also be expected to record data, perform data reduction, provide results to the requester, and handle various cleaning duties within the laboratory. The role involves the use of various instruments including but not limited to Instron pull tester, pressure monitor, peristaltic pump, temperature monitor, heater cooler, and packaging testing equipment. Additionally, the Lab Technician will be responsible for checking test methods and ensuring quality control in compliance with FDA requirements.

Work Environment
The role involves a day shift with flexible hours; the shift can start as early as 6am or 6:30am. The work environment will involve working at a cubicle upstairs and in the blood lab downstairs. Dress code requires long pants, close-toe shoes, and long hair must be pulled up.
