What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a Project Travel Coordinator to provide support for a Voice over IP (VOIP) modernization (VMOD) effort.

You should also be able to handle ad hoc requests and adjust to changing priorities.

As a member of the VMOD team, you will provide a broad range of support to achieve operational objectives for a new portfolio supporting modernization efforts for DoD. You will also:

  • Work independently on moderately complex assignments and set objectives for your area to meet program objectives and assignments.

  • Recommend process enhancements to solve problems or yield improvements.

  • Apply your abilities to resolve common problems by drawing from prior experiences and understanding of general job areas.

  • Interface with individuals across the program, spanning all disciplines and different levels from senior managers to junior level staff. The position will also require interaction with government stakeholders.

More About the Role:

The Travel Coordinator will manage and oversee all travel arrangements and operations for team personnel. The ideal candidate will ensure that all travel complies with government regulations and policies, is cost-effective, and meets the needs of travelers. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and book domestic and international travel for team members, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and other travel-related services.

  • Ensure all travel arrangements comply with government travel policies and budgetary guidelines.

  • Monitor and manage travel expenses, including processing travel reimbursements and maintaining accurate financial records.

  • Provide travelers with detailed itineraries, travel documents, and other necessary information.

  • Handle travel-related issues and emergencies, providing timely resolutions and support.

  • Maintain and update travel databases and records.

  • Stay informed about changes in travel regulations, policies, and industry trends.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless travel operations.

  • Support the program team with tracking costs including travel, ODCs and tools/materials.

  • Assist with any data calls requested by internal and external customers.

  • Ensure that all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality of performance.

  • Prepare agendas and track action items from meetings.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • College degree (B.A./B.S.) in business, finance, or technical discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • U.S. Citizen with at least an interim DOD Secret

  • Professional Experience of 3-5 years of experience in travel coordination or a related role, preferably within a government or corporate environment.

  • Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and software.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Experience working on government contracts

  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.

  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong work ethic; self-starter

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with government travel policies and procedures.

  • Certification in travel coordination or related fields.

  • Familiarity with international travel requirements, including visas and passports.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$60,100 - $123,300
