As a Sr Staff Client Services Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in our global remote service strategy and execution, working closely with leaders in the Global Service and Support Division.

What you will do:

Business Transformation: Optimally advance the strategic vision and support critical initiatives that will make a real difference to the customers through alignment of global processes and systems.

Improving Customer success rate while establishing performance cadence. Has a deep understanding of the customer support needs across various markets that Thermo Fisher serves to drive operational cadence to the service organizations.

Operational Excellence: Drive standardization, harmonization across service businesses to ensure accountability at all levels of the organization through data, process and metrics which will be accomplished through close partnership with IT (Information Technology), service functions, and business analysts.

Project Management: Experience as leading successful projects through industry – recognized, best – in – class project management standards.

How you will get there:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in experience in Life Sciences field strongly preferred

  • 8+ years of leading successful projects

  • Key interpersonal savvy skills that can be used to influence key matrix partners.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 0 - 25% of time depending on projects assigned

  • Validated experience, comfort and familiarity leading a large scale global heavily metrics driven organization, with the ability to understand the data and derive action plans from that data.

  • Shown success in building collaborative partnerships with field teams (Service Sales, Instrument Sales, Field Management) and internal organizations (Marketing, Service Development, Regulatory & Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, Operations, and Facilities).

  • Validated excellence in communication (verbal and written), negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong PPI approach – able to drive productivity and sustainable improvements. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in North Carolina is $106,400.00–$150,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
