Job Summary:

Mission Emergency General Surgery (EGS) is seeking an advanced practice provider to join their comprehensive and established Emergency General Surgery team in Asheville, NC.

This will be a non-operative position covering routine floor procedures, rounding, consults, etc., for acute general surgery conditions, and working closely with a team of resident physicians. Position housed within the Trauma Services department.

Qualified Candidates:

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program

  • BLS, ACLS/PALS certification

  • NC or multi-state nursing license a plus

  • Experience preferred but not required as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in a surgical practice setting

  • Minimum 36 hours per week

  • 100% Inpatient

  • Salaried, not Shift Based, position
