Robert Half Inventory Analyst in Athens, Alabama
Description
We are seeking an Inventory Analyst based in Athens, Alabama. This role is part of an automotive manufacturing team and involves monitoring and maintaining inventory within the plant. The position is a contract role and requires proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning and Inventory Analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor incoming materials to ensure timely arrival
• Analyze inventory reports and take necessary action to maintain optimum inventory levels
• Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy
• Maintain standard procedures for inventory management
• Use ERP systems to track and analyze inventory
• Address inventory discrepancies and provide solutions
• Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics team to ensure seamless operations
• Conduct regular audits to ensure all accounting functions related to inventory are accurately recorded
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take action on delinquent payments when necessary.
• Oversee 3 Inventory Clerks.
Requirements • Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions
• Knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions
• Ability to handle Discrepancy tasks effectively
• Understanding of Logistics operations
• Capable of performing Inventory Analysis
• Experience in Inventory Tracking
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
