Description
Robert Half is assisting a law firm in the Atlanta area in the search for a Litigation Attorney with experience in insurance defense.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation
• Assist with trial preparation by compiling, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials for use by attorneys
• Manage and meet billing requirements
• Handle a range of insurance defense work, not limited to trucking/transportation
• Ensure all legal advice provided follows the current law and the company's policy
• Collaborate with team members to devise effective defense strategies
• Maintain confidentiality of all legal documents and client information.
Requirements
• Possession of a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the Georgia State Bar
• Proven experience in insurance defense and insurance defense litigation
• Solid understanding of litigation defense and legal research methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and software
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for client interactions
• Adherence to professional ethics and standards of the legal profession
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of law.
