Job Description
Architect is responsible for the design of the infrastructure systems for a portfolio of applications by matching current technology blueprints and standards with the business and application requirements
This includes defining and documenting the hardware, software, infrastructure components, modules, interfaces, scalability, and high availability solutions to meet specified application, business, and company requirements
Identify solutions and alternatives for keeping current and optimizing computer resources
Investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions required for design and support of various types of enterprise applications
Collect information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems
Technical Skills:
Linux/Windows Server applications
Middleware
Database knowledge – MSSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
VMware for virtualization
Red Hat Linux
