The Program Manager I takes ownership of U.S. and Canada projects that involve design, development, and/or logistical organization of Marketing & Sales Planning initiatives. The PM I organizes projects, creates timelines, updates statuses, helps in planning and communications, and assists the teams in finding creative solutions when needed. This person keeps multiple cross-functional teams on target, builds and updates projects, manages scope and delivers the project requirements on time. This role will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple programs of varying complexity at any one time!

Pleae note this is NOT a technical project/program manager role.

  • Program Management and delivery of Derivative projects. This scope includes:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end cross-functional oversight and delivery of derivative new items in U.S. and Canada through a gated process. These projects may include temporary displays, graphic/language updates, case quantities, regulatory updates, and seasonal promotional packs.

  • Lead, develop and execute best-in-class temporary, semi-permanent and/or permanent merchandising solutions. This role manages internal and external resources in achieving display objectives for each brand while meeting timelines.

  • Responsible for being an expert in display standards and guidelines within assigned channels and/or customers. Manages flow of information and requests from Brand Marketing, Customer Sales Planning, Finance, Sales, etc.

  • Tracking and supporting the display development process, understanding scale and cost implications, and striving to improve the in-store experience for shoppers through best-in-class merchandising. Communicate project details to manufacturing & third party supplier for design/development/quoting & labor information

  • Understand project timelines from supply chain and third party supplier.

  • Manage the correct network deliverables to ensure on time go to market

  • Working closely with cross-functional team to ensure that projects are tracking, and all roles and responsibilities are being met. Pro-actively identify risks and work collaboratively with subject matter experts to put mitigation plans in place in advance.

  • Liaise between production facility and suppliers to troubleshoot production concerns

  • Brings creative solutions to commercialization challenges

  • Regularly provide feedback and actively participate in the improvement of project management practices. Focus on streamlining process & data inputs to drive cost efficiency

  • Role is based in Atlanta

  • Travel up to 30% (including international – Canada)

  • Must have a valid passport upon start date

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor degree is required

  • Project management experience is required

  • 3-5 years CPG (consumer packaged goods) experience in Project Management, Supply Chain or Engineering function is highly desired

  • Self-motivated, collaborative, organized, with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize and manage timelines

  • Strategic thinking, self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to build strong business relationships across all functions of the organization

  • Efficient & clear communication – verbally and written with all levels of a multi-tier organization

  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
