KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Corporate Communications - Audit to join our Corporate Affairs organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive and support communication strategy to shape, advance, and protect the firm's reputation and that of the Audit practice; work within our team to effectively advance our efforts on key priorities including the future of the audit profession, financial reporting trends, dynamics in the private markets including startups, venture capital and private equity, artificial intelligence, sustainability reporting, and emerging and disruptive industries

  • Handle media relations, including identifying and crafting compelling messages, pitching and engaging media, staffing interviews, developing commentary, press releases, and more

  • Take responsibility for social media, including supporting executive visibility efforts and data visualization

  • Shape thought leadership strategy, including survey development, data analysis and message crafting

  • Focus primarily on dynamics in private markets, including venture capital investment trends, disruption drivers, and their impact on financial reporting

  • Develop longer-form Audit Insights based on leadership interviews, outside research, and more internal communications, including video and live call support

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of recent experience working in communications and preferably a related profession; agency experience a plus

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

  • Ability to effectively collaborate and interact with individuals at all levels across an organization, including senior leadership; some knowledge of the business and competitive environment​

  • Strong writing, editing and proofing, and project management skills; a proactive team player and self-starter who exercises independent judgment and discretion​

  • Proven technical aptitude and critical thinking; knowledge of Microsoft Office, generative AI and measurement tools; in-depth knowledge of and experience using internal and external communications channels including social and digital media

  • Able to thrive, multi-task, and be flexible in a fast-paced, a high-performing and deadline-oriented environment
