Kandi Produce Inc. Farmworker in Atwater, Minnesota
Need 22 full time, temporary seasonal workers farmworkers to work in Atwater, MN. From: 04/01/2025 - 11/30/2025 40 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri., 8 hrs./day. 8:00am-5:00pm. A general work week in Monday - Friday, Workers may be requested to work longer days, depending upon the conditions of the commodities produced. At the employer's sole discretion, applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage or possibly an end-of-season bonus, due to factors including experience, merit, attendance, attitude, and/or skill. In MN, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week, will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. Must Apply By: 8/01/2025 Job Duties: Prepare the soil, pick rocks, and plant crops. Weed and care for vegetables using hand tools. Manually harvest vegetables by hand. Wash, package, load, and unload crops. Transport crops. Operate tractors. General facility maintenance and farm upkeep. Job Requirements: Three (3) months experience, driver's license (Class D) within 30 days of hire, clean driving record. No minimum education required. Employer Assurances: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of the work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of atleast$15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
