Guardian Central Services, LLC Systems Architect in Auburn Hills, Michigan

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand enterprise needs, translating business requirements into technical solutions that align with the organization's strategic vision. Design and develop comprehensive solution architectures, incorporating new processes, policy changes, system capabilities, and configurations to address business challenges effectively. Recommend alternative solutions and technologies, evaluating their potential impact on the organization's ecosystem, to foster innovation and efficiency. Draft detailed functional and technical specifications documents, providing a clear and actionable blueprint for the development teams. Review and validate design and development specifications with technical teams, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with architectural standards. Lead the creation of system models, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system developers and stakeholders. Oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural designs, standards, and best practices. Ensure that solution architectures are in alignment with the organization's application strategies, contributing to the overall IT architecture framework. Identify opportunities and challenges within the current system and application landscape, proposing a migration roadmap to achieve desired state architectures. Conduct architectural assessments and reviews to ensure ongoing alignment with business and IT strategies. Educate stakeholders on application architecture risks, using insights to influence strategic changes and decision-making. Advocate for architectural principles and standards, promoting awareness of best practices in system design and integration. Assess potential risks associated with architectural decisions, providing guidance on mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability and performance. Serve as a key liaison between business and technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure seamless integration and implementation of solutions. Provide mentorship and guidance to technical teams, enhancing their understanding of architectural principles and practices. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating innovative ideas into architectural designs to maintain a competitive edge.

Minimum Requirements:

 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience with Enterprise Service Bus Architecture and Platforms.

 

Employer would also accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field and 3 years of experience with Enterprise Service Bus Architecture and Platforms.

 

Of the required experience, must have:

 

  • 3 years of experience in architectural and integration design patterns, including hands-on design and implementation experience;
  • 3 years of experience in EAI and SOA best practices;
  • 3 years of experience in Microservices architecture, API-led connectivity, and API management;
  • 3 years of experience in Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management, and Performance;
  • 3 years of experience Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution;
  • 3 years of experience in Programming languages including Java, C#, .NET, Javascript, or Python;
  • 3 years of experience in JMS, SOAP and REST Web Services standards;
  • 3 years of experience in CI/CD processes and DevOps principles;
  • 1 year of experience in Data streaming platforms; and
  • 1 year of experience in Cloud architecture.

Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.
