ETEL Transformers Production Engineer Lead in Auckland, New Zealand

We are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer to join our Manufacturing Improvement Team and be responsible for:

  • Leading a small team of Electrical and Mechanical Production Engineers whose focus is delivering timely and well thought out solutions for the Operations team.

  • Working on initiatives to improve the quality output of the product, maximise production efficiency and reduce cost of existing designs.

  • Build a TEAM capable of identifying and solving a wide array of technical problems, producing technical drawings, reports or processes as required.

  • Managing resource allocation, peer reviewing and encouraging continuous learning and high performance.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor of Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics.

  • 5+ years working experience, preferably in manufacturing

  • Excellent grasp of Engineering First Principles

  • Proven ability to solve complex problems using tools such as RCA

  • Proven Leadership ability

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel

  • 3D Modelling experience in SolidWorks or similar
