Job Title: Welder Fitter
Job Description
Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques. Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process. Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness. Utilize knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Responsibilities
Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials.
Apply appropriate welding techniques.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled shop with open-air buildings, some of which are old and some brand new.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hollywood, South Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
