The Role: Seasonal 'Traveler' in Long-Term Care - Per Diem

MaineGeneral is offering an exciting temporary opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Gray Birch. The Per Diem Seasonal "Traveler" RN/LPN works at least 1 shift per week in Long-Term Care with the opportunity to stay per diem with MaineGeneral when the assignment is completed. The schedule and shift can change every 6 weeks. Positions come with a generous pay differential that is comparable to traveler pay.

Position Highlights:

  • Flexibility to work as little as 1 shift or as much as 3+ shifts per week

  • Differentials comparable to traveler pay

  • Provides direct patient care to patients in Long-Term Care, using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

This is a temporary, per diem position open to external candidates only. MaineGeneral re-hires within 6 months are not eligible.

​You Have:

  • Active Maine RN or LPN licensure or ability to obtain same in a timely fashion, required

  • At least 2 years of recent Long-Term Care experience, required
