Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking skilled quality control technicians to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the dimensions of incoming and outgoing products using micrometers and calipers. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality inspections using micrometers and calipers.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure product specifications are met.

  • Verify dimensions of incoming and outgoing products.

  • Conduct quality inspections in a metals or similar environment.

  • Perform data entry related to quality control activities using microsft office

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in reading blueprints.

  • Experience with micrometers and calipers.

  • At least 6 months of experience as a quality inspector.

  • Experience in heavy manufacturing, preferably in a machine shop or metal fabrication environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with hand tools.

  • Experience with quality assurance and inspection processes.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

Work in a heavy manufacturing environment with punch presses and brake presses throughout the facility. The quality department is in a sepeate location but candidates in this department will need to go on the production floor

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
