Performs highly complex professional administrative and policy analysis work. Work involves conducting organizational studies and evaluations, designing systems and developing procedures, conducting work efficiency studies, and preparing operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Work requires extensive contact with high-level executives, managers and governmental agencies. Employees at this level are virtually self-supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product.Essential Duties: Oversee studies of employee/organizational efficiency and productivity and recommends changes or improvement in organization, staffing, work methods, and procedures by managing and facilitating process improvement through techniques such as lean principles and Six Sigma Research, plans, coordinates, and develops programs, projects, activities or procedures to increase productivity, efficiency, and streamline operations. Develops recommendations for improvement and/or corrective action to standardize or improve current processes or systems. Researches and interprets historical, current, and projected data to identify problems, causes, and areas where procedural or system changes are indicated. Analyzes and evaluates business functions and activities; develops and monitors performance data; identifies key performance metrics for monitoring and tracking ongoing saving compared to the estimated goals and objectives. Teaching, leading, and coaching cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology. Identify ongoing lean improvement training needs and assists with developing and implementing the required training. Leads or supports project teams to revise, roll-out, and validate future-state work Performs project management for multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities. Performs other duties as assigned
