About the role
CBRE is searching for a hard-working, motivated construction professional to provide supportmanaging construction projects for a confidential large technology client.
What you’ll do
Design networking racks for the backbone of googles Data centers
Conduct analysis of network changes to improve automated workflows
Plan and reserve space and power in new and old data centers
Collaborate with GIG (Global Infrastructure Group) teams to minimize service disruptions across Google's global fleet
Resolve routing issues related to Google's automated and manual fiber routing layouts
Develop and implement methodologies for fiber length estimations
Use AutoCAD to aid implementation of fiber and rack designs in data center
Perform server analysis and solutions to maintain central servers and virtual machines
Manage CAD and BIM models on CAD/BIM server
Test application trial programs prior to machine installation
Use Google (or internal) tooling for design layouts of machine racks to aid applications for GIG teams
Plan and manage BIM software licensing
Maintain BIM hardware requirements
Manage BIM software security approval
Manage local plotter: training, supplies, setup and support other teams with plotters
Update internal design standards documents
Process drawings for overall organization, consistency, and adherence to standards
Coordinate drawing updates
Interact with stakeholders for CAD/BIM file distribution through emails, Buganizer, GUTS
and meetings
Support CAD and BIM helpdesk for data center operations users with Frequently Asked Questions (“FAQ”), help, installation, etc.
Qualifications:
Experience with Google Suite
Detail oriented and organized
2 years of project management experience
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Ability to coordinate with and influence stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions.
Ability to organize complex product information into clear written descriptions and instructions.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $60,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $80,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
