Charles Schwab Manager, Software Development & Engineering in Austin, Texas

Duties : Develop cutting-edge web applications using technologies like Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Transmit, Java and SpringBoot. Contribute to project architecture design and ensuring the overall quality and performance of our digital solutions. Participate in Agile ceremonies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user-friendly interfaces by ensuring code quality and security using tools like Sonar and Veracode. Implement best practices for responsive design, focusing on load speed, performance, accessibility, and user experience. Utilize test-driven development methodologies with Jasmine Karma. Conduct unit testing and write automation scripts using Ruby, Cucumber, and Junit/Selenium to ensure the reliability and stability of web applications. Utilize Launch Darkly to create and manage feature flags. Participate in deployment activities using Bamboo, Harness, PCF, and GCP, ensuring seamless and reliable application releases. Develop Splunk queries and dashboards report display and debug purposes.

Job Location: Austin, TX

Salary: $157,400 to $214,700 per year

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor's in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field and 72 months of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master's in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or a related field and 36 months of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Requires experience (6 years with Bachelor's, 3 years with Master's) in each of the following skills: 1. Developing and troubleshooting authentication services using Java and SpringBoot. 2. Developing public facing user interfaces to address security using Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS. 3. Automating unit and regression test cases using Jasmine Karma, Ruby, Cucumber Junit, Mockito/Selenium. 4. CI/CD using to automate the software build, test, and deployment processes using like Maven, Gradle, Bamboo, Harness, PCF, and GCP. 5. Developing authentication functionality using OAuth, JWT, and SAML. 6. Integration with authentication platforms like Transmit, Okta, or similar.
