Robert Half Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant in Avon, Connecticut
Description We are seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to join our detail oriented Services team in AVON, Connecticut. The role involves leveraging Google Data Studio to provide intelligent business solutions. You will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions to support our decision-making process.
Responsibilities:
• Designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions
• Crafting and executing queries upon request for data
• Presenting information through reports and visualization
• Translate business needs to technical specifications
• Ensure business data and reporting needs are met
• Developing and updating technical documentation
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
• Implementing processes and layouts for complex, large-scale data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes
• Utilizing Google Data Studio for data analysis and visualization
• Collaborating with teams to integrate systems. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Google Data Studio for data visualization and reporting.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the detail oriented services industry.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data mining, and database design.
• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting complex data and translating it into actionable business strategies.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and present findings to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation languages.
• Experience with additional data analysis tools and platforms is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
