Job Description:

Assures the continuous production process support and follow up on continuous improvement projects through our Envista Business System to achieve a higher productivity, efficiency, and maintaining the equipment uptime above the desired goal. You will be collaborating closely with members of different teams to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Makes sure the implemented projects are sustained and improve.

Responsibilities include developing, scheduling and execution of PMs for equipment, drive project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper plans execution.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with a sense of urgency to maintain the equipment up and running to fulfill our daily production goals.

  • Optimize OEE and makes sure the equipment up-time is above the goal.

  • Problem solving to major failures and escalate with the vendor if needed.

  • Provide support to the technicians’ team through instructions, training, and hands on demonstration.

  • Create and update troubleshooting procedures.

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

  • Cost reduction initiatives.

  • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

  • Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

  • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation.

  • Collaborate in safety and quality remediation projects on equipment and works to mitigate any impact on the process.

Job Requirements:

Education/Experience/Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance experience repairing machines, equipment, and hydraulics. A bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • 3+ years proven experience working in successful implemented Projects.

  • Knowledge in troubleshooting electric, hydraulic, pneumatic and CNC and PLC controls.

  • Ability to guide and motivate a team to bring them to higher standards.

  • Strong effective communication skills oral/written in both Spanish and English.

  • Able to read and understand mechanical/electrical schematics in English.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Lean or continuous improvement background.

  • Medical industry background ISO 13485.

  • Experience with Medical validations IQ, OQ, PQ.

  • Haas CNC experience.

  • Knowledge of 3D printing technology or automation.
